Soulful stories, sung in whatever key the moment calls for.
Dana King — born Akinola Daniel Ojelabi — is a Glasgow-based singer-songwriter and performing artist originally from Nigeria. His music moves easily between soulful R&B, pop, country-inspired ballads, soft rock, reggae and African influences, built around one constant: an honest, unpolished human voice.
He began recording in 2010, and since relocating to the UK has built an independent career from the ground up — writing about love, faith, hope and the small true moments of a life lived between two homes. His songs "Faraway" and "Lost in Love" are the first chapters of a larger project, Maestro of Ballads, still being written.
